You no longer need JavaScript

A good post describing a lot of reasons why CSS is awesome and why you probably don’t need JavaScript for your website. The whole post – as self-described at the end – is “a bit of a fun mess” and could have easily been splitted into two or three posts, but it’s worth to read nonetheless.

Cimo Image Optimizer Plugin

There are lots of image optimizer plugins out there, but all that I’m aware of send images to a remote server for conversion. This new plugin seems to be doing everything in your browser, right when you upload them, which sounds awesome. Definitely need to check this out some more.
