A look into the jar where I'm trying to revive my dried sourdough starter with some water and flour.

Because we were away from home for the whole month of June and because I didn’t want to bother anyone with this huge responsibility of catering for my sourdough, I dried a good bunch of him before we left. I did this only once so far, when we were away last November and back then it took about a day to revive him.

Today I added some water, fed a little flour and put him on the shelf. No signs of life so far, but I’m pretty optimistic that it will work again this time.
