Arrived in Tropea today and the town and especially the beaches – seen here from above – are absolutely beautiful. Also: much, much cleaner than the ones in Salerno.

Just learned about the heavy storms hitting northern Italy and parts of Switzerland at the moment. So far it sounds like we should be safe down here in the south and it shouldn’t affect us as much, apart from a little rain and strong wind. Still somewhat surreal to read those warnings for Florence, Tuscany and the whole region we just left a few days ago.
